The front of my oven door? My oven is white like the rest of my appliances, but the glass on the door is black.

You can see that the glass slides out & can be changed. SO where can I get another glass piece from? Its a Hotpoint by GE?

The GE and Hotpoint websites probably list only the commonly replaced parts, like the heating elements. But a good appliance parts store will have complete parts diagrams for most every model on microfiche or on the computer. They may not have the part in stock and will have to special order it.

Alternatively, you can go to your local glass store. They too may have to special order the glass because it requires a high temperature formulation, but they can cut it to fit your oven.

Hotpoint GE parts and service - check your manual for the parts number and then check the website or phone directory for a dealer near you. Ask if there is a window from another model that is clear that you can replace your black one with.
