Im looking for something that is like a strand of christmas lights, but instead of regular christmas light bulbs, they are regular light sockets. Is there such a product, what is it called?

My favorite flowers is carnations even though I like the smell of honeysuckle. Unless I buy flowers myself, I don't get flowers very often and I enjoy getting them.

I asked this question earlier but evidently there are those who think everyone is totally stupid. This is not the case, I am merely ignorant of what I am asking. I know enough not to keep pushing the reset button if the furnace does not start. It will only fill full of oil and then when and if it does ignite it could be a big explosion. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. MY FURNACE STARTS AND RUNS EVERYTIME I DO IT. It gets up to the setting on the thermostat and stops then does not come on again by itself, or seldom by itself. Here is what I gave for information in my first asking of this question.....I already replaced the thermostat. Sometimes the furnace will try to come on but the box where the reset button is will make chattering noise until I help the (relay??) inside fully engage. Other times I have to just push the reset button itself and it will engage itself and start heating. This is a oil furnace heating my hot water and steam radiators. This is electrical not fuel a problem. THANKYOU

I want to have a shower fitted in my bathroom. I currently have a combi boiler and am puzzled about the different showers available. Can anybody advise me please? Also, how much am I likely to be charged to get the shower fitted - I am a single woman and, although I understand that quality work comes at a price, I dont want to get ripped off either.

(Anyone have a % or source)

Arent almost all houses typically framed in wood? Why?

Could houses be framed in steel instead? if so would it be a large price difference? and what would the benefits be?

Lastly, What are some other building material/methods that could be used? (the only one that comes to mind is brick/stone)

I'm replacing my thermostat (heat only) and the instructions say to turn off the electrical power to the furnace (which I guess shuts off the voltage to the thermostat wires) before removing the wires from the old thermostat and attaching them to the new one.

Trouble is, I've looked around my gas furnace in the basement and I can't figure out where the switch would be. I have a fuse box, I wonder if I should just remove the fuse, and if that would be sufficient?

Sorry, I'm a girl, and this is a bit over my head. But I don't want to spend more money to hire an HVAC guy about this.

THANKS!

I got a leather sofa about 4 months ago, its got foam style inners and leather cushions. The seat cushions seem to have stretched and one of them has got a couple of pretty big creases in it. It this normal? Should i complain? It doesn't exactly get over-used or mis-used. I just sit on it.
