Since ,y mother passed away on Saturday, I've been trying to sort through her things. She had literally tons of clothes and shoes. Some in the attic in boxes and bags and even more in her bedroom. Some piles are up to my shoulder and I'm not exaggerating! It's just too much to try and take to the Salvation army and they don't do pick-ups. It seems a shme to just throw everything in a dumpster as my uncle suggested. HELP!

My range is 5 years old. It is a Frigidaire electric, ceramic top, drop in model. My husband installed a new microwave above the stove a couple of days ago. We soon noticed that the clock on the stove was not working, oven light, in fact, nothing was working. I turned on the burner and the clock came on and also the oven light then worked. The burners and oven did not. Turned off the burner knob, back to no power.
My husband probably hit a wire when looking for a stud for the microwave. I called an appliance repairman and he did not know how to take the stove out and was afraid of damaging the cabinets.
I know the stove sits on the counter and also has a anti tip device either on the sides or in the back. I need to know how to remove the stove &/or who to call first. Should I call a authorized dealer to remove the stove and check the power and then an electrician if needed? Should we try and remove the stove ourselves and call an electrician? Guidance & wisdom would help

I recently bought a new mattress but did not bother getting a new boxspring. I'm experiencing a dip in my new mattress and am wondering if maybe my boxspring is "done" or if I'm just not used to the pilowtop on the new mattress. Any suggestions?

Specifically, I would like some sort of blueprint/ directions for constructing a simple stable for our children's Christmas nativity program. It needs to be simple to construct and not too large. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!\
Thanks!

Just got a new house, however the master bath has light pink tile countertops. Any suggestions on what colors would be good to calm this down, accent it, or...? Any websites I can look at to help?

I think these tiles are aluminum (they look like brushed stainless steel). They are about 4"x4", picked up from a home improvement store. A few tiles need to be cut in half to fit into the wall space above the stovetop, but so far none of the tactics my cousin has used has cut them successfully. The man who lived in the house before had successfully tiled a section using these exact tiles, some of which he did cut in half (although the tile cuts are not straight and so appear to have been done by hand).

Any ideas from some experienced tilers out there? Thanks so much!

In the room where we keep the cats' litter boxes, everything is covered in dust. Is there anything that removes dust from these items (other than a dust rag)?

Will one of those air cleaner/purifiers work? Is there anything to prevent the dust from settling in the future?
