i have a house, 140 years old, with beautiful cast iron steam radiators. they do not heat up evenly. i know they are not supposed to need to be bled. i have replaced the valves on the side that are supposed to let the trapped air escape, about 5 years ago. i think they might need replacing again, where do i buy good quality replacements. thanks

i went to hit the reset and i have no flame, it was just completey serviced to the tune of $220.00. It has run fine for a month and all the sudden last night did not fire and the cats eye shut it down. What are the possible adjutment that would make it not light up very intermittently. The pump screen cleaned and filter sock was changed, The nozzle was changed too {its a Delevan 1.00/80*]. Im a diesel mechanic on heavy trucks but have no experience on furnace air or gun settings. Im sure by the way this thing acts its most likely a adjustment or poss. a weak transformer. any help would be great. Thanx. FreezinginNYstate

We live in Australia and have no cooling in our brick house. On a bad day the temp indoors can get to 30C. We need to look at either an evaporative or airconditioning unit for cooling and it has to be portable as we are renting. Aircon is nearly twice the price of evaporative ($700 vs $400) but is it twice as good. As a kid we had evaporative and I don't remember it as helping very much...

Stain has been on the carpet for a couple of months. Kids hid it from me with a box. I'm sure it's red soft drink.

I have a Japanese White Pine bonsai tree It is looking abit sad, needles seem to be dry despite me watering it regularly. It is still in the pot I bought it in (which was about 6 months ago), which is a proper Bonsai container. It sits on my matlepiece which is in sunlight for most of the day.
I am struggling to find any useful hints/info on looking after it and making sure it remains healthy - help!
