Grapes are deemed seedless if they contain 4 or less seeds, they know how many seeds are in a grape by the type of grape it is & they grow seedless grapes by using 1 of these seeds that are found in a "seedless" grape & planting it.

Thinking back to school biology seedless grapes are a genetic mutaion that are the end of the line. Obviously you need seeds to grown them but they cannot be reproduced.

The parent grape has been mutated to not make seeds again. Or something like that.

On the 8th day, god created seedless grape seeds, but he only created a limited number. And look at us... we are selfishly growing and selling them in mass quantity, but when our supply of seedless grapes runs out thats it, no more. Scientists have been working for hundreds of years to reproduce seedless grape seeds but it has all been in vain. If a solution doesn't present itself soon, we will run out of seedless grape seeds and can never suckle their sweet nectar again. Thats why I always strongly urge young minds to help the community, and take some classes in seedless seed theory and it's applications at your local technical college. You could make millions! It's like the lottery of fruit. Just remember that if you do hit it rich, just remember me, I got you started.

There are only a certain amount in existence. These where harvested before the grapes evolved into their current seedless state.

One day, and I fear this day, there will be no more seedless grapes!

grapes do not develope seeds untill a certain timein their 'life'

to stop the grapes from growing seeds 'auxins' are spraid over the grapes, this is a chemical the grapes would normally produce themselves but only once the seeds have grown inside the grapes

this means by spraying auxins on it tricks the plant into thinking the grapes already have seeds, so they are seedless

so, in answer to your question, standard grape seeds are used, the same seeds as would be used for grapes that have seeds

quote:
"Because grapevines are vegetatively propagated by cuttings, the lack of seeds does not present a problem for reproduction. It is, however, an issue for breeders, who must either use a seeded variety as the female parent or rescue embryos early in development using tissue culture techniques."

The end result you describe are hybrids. maximum hybrids the two won't be able to reproduce clearly, as contained with reference to many animals, yet subsequently, i've got self belief the human beings who patent those hybrids do no longer desire the fruit to offer seeds consequently removing the skill for others to reproduction their efforts without them benifiting financially. Many fish farms will basically grant fish shares to different farms of one intercourse for the comparable reason. you may purchase the fingerlings strengthen them and sell them for a income, yet you could no longer get them to reproduce for you, so which you circulate returned to the provider provider for greater fingerlings.
