You use the same two brands as myself. They do smell nice and fresh , it is just that you are used to it. I have had pleasant comments on the way my laundry smells.

I really like the smell of original Downy fabric softener on my clothes. Maybe because it is what my mom used.
If you want your clothes to have the fragarance of your fabric softener, try adding some of the softener when you add your detergent, as well as during the rinse cycle. I am not sure why this works, but it seems to give my clothes an extra boost of that fresh scent!

i'm getting the reasonable laundry dry detergent (like Arm & Hammer) and use the greater appropriate softener. I additionally wash in yet differently, in that, I wash like customary around #a million, then i glance and notice if there are nonetheless suds on the superb of the wash earlier the rinse cycle starts. If theres mild bubbles, I had adequate cleansing soap to bathe each little thing. If it quite is grimy and no suds, then I re-run the wash cycle. the 2d time, I in basic terms put in a million/2 of the quantity I used with the 1st time at washing the burden. Then, I enable the burden to get performed & rinse. I re-initiate the rinse cycle returned, and this time I upload the softener. Then i'm performed. If rather nasty load, I upload a million cup of white distilled vinegar with the dry detergent. in specific circumstances, i will toss in a softener textile in the dryer, for extra aroma. 032607 4:fifty 8

I love Gain Island Fresh. The softener is great too, but my favorite softener is Suavitel,Morning Sun(yellow). And is really the best quality for the best price that I have found. But here's the thing: my mom and best friend both use exactly the same thing and each of their laundry smells different and better to me than mine. However I borrowed a shirt from my friend and I washed & returned it, and her daughter said that she loved the way my clothes smelled and wanted to know what I use.I think it has to do with body scent or maybe that we just get so used to our own scent that we don't notice anymore. So I bet that if you are aware of how good others' clothes smell chances are that they notice yours too.

Gain is the best smelling laundry detergent I have tried. It is a little loud but the smell last and last even after you have folded your clothes and put them up. You can also purchase the fabric softener to give it that extra kick.

Gain's Apple Mango Tango scent smells really nice, and it doesn't fade after the clothes are put away.

GAIN SMELLS REALLY GOOD,ALSO THE FABRIC SOFTENER THAT YOU ADD TO THE RINSE CYCLE LAST LONGER THAN THE SHEETS YOU PUT IN THE DRYER.
