Im looking for something that is like a strand of christmas lights, but instead of regular christmas light bulbs, they are regular light sockets. Is there such a product, what is it called?

It's called string of festoon lamps or sometimes festooning. They are mostly availiable from hardware stores in ready made lengths with a plug on one end but if you need a custom length an electrician can make one up for you.

You can find them wherever they sell lights for tents like at a fair or carnival. They come with a plastic screen enclosure for the
bulb. They are also used for construction site lighting under walkway staging. You can check with a lighting outlet or maybe even Home Depot or Lowes or if you know somebody in a large construction or demolition business.

Old time Christmas lights used to be like that and each bulb screwed in separately.

I think you can still get bubble lights
