Other than using hydrogen peroxide or a meat tenderizer/water paste directly on the stain, a professional stain remover or pretreater may also work.

Check your local supermarket for a pretreater/stain remover.

Carefully place hydrogen peroxide on the spots. An eye dropper would work well. It will bubble and fizz as it dissolves the stain. Blot up with a clean paper towel. It may take several times to get all the blood out. Be sure to let the hydrogen peroxide dry completely before putting any other fabric next to it as it may cause the fabric to fade.
