Get some 20 Mule Team Borax and Dawn dish soap. First make a solution the consistency of pancake batter and pour on the carpet, scrub it in and let it set for about 20 minutes or so. After that clean it up and let it dry. Sprinkle Baking Soda on the spot and let it absorb the rest of the smell if there is any left. I have used this method several times (3 kids) and it works every time. Just time consuming. Good luck. Nana

First, buy a product called Feline Odor Neutralizer. It is available on the internet if you can't get it thru a vet. Next, have the carpet professionally cleaned. Have the cleaners use their deodorizing product if they have one - I recommend steam cleaning. After they have cleaned and deodorized, spray the spot with the Feline Odor Neutralizer. This product gets rid of everything including skunk odor. It was recommended to me by a realtor. Here's a link to where you can get it on Amazon.

ODOBAN - you can get it at Sams and some Wal Marts - it works like nothing I have used. You can use it on carpet and even clean counters with it. Hope this helps.
