I have sprayed them and soaped them but I keep getting spider mites. The other plants in my home are fine. I have about 40 plants. I have been told that the spider mite burrows in the dirt, is this true? I have also been told that the only way to get rid of them permanently is to bake the dirt. This sounds absurd. Any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas on what is best to use, I don't know what the former owners were thinking but it's currently wood. We obviously want vinyl or something similar & want to install it before we put on siding.

Hello, I have this chair that I'd like to appropriately give information on before I sell it. Some one once said that it looked like 1970's Mexican style(forgive the uneducated explaination). It has no backing, with a red velvet seat and beautiful wooden carved legs. Anyone know of a free site that I could educate myself with, or anyone know right off hand? Any help is great!

They just hold on to everything! There are newspapers from months past, soda bottles, shoes, clothes, boxes, anything you can imagine just exploding from each room in the house! I have already tried cleaning their house myself, but I don't get anywhere. I do the dishes, clean the counters, etc. but they are just recluttered within a week! What are some ways I can help them or get some serious intervention for de-cluttering their home

I use color-safe bleach on my colored laundry but I finally just can't stand it. What IS it? And why am I using it? How can bleach be color-safe? Doesn't bleach... bleach things? And if this stuff doesn't bleach things, is it really bleach? Is it doing anything other than giving me something else to spend money on? If I mixed it with any of the things you mix bleach with to get nasty reactions like chlorine gas - or spontaneous combustion - would it still do those things? Or is it a completely different product altogether and only CALLED bleach because the marketers know people will buy something called bleach?

I'm confused.

My refridgerator is about 18 years old and it runs all the time. I think the freezer part of it comes on and shuts off more or less like it is susposed to but the fridge doesn't get as cold as it used to and I have the control set to the lowest setting. I can hear something running all the time.
Do refridgerators wear out in time and need to be replaced?

I'm wondering how to repel spiders from coming through a door. I had major problems with these little jumping spiders this summer, and I'm positive they were getting in through the front door because even though it locks securely, it doesn't form a tight seal, and they could slip right through. I would walk in and find 4 or 5 a day right in the entryway. Is there a way to add some kind of rubber thing or seal around my door to keep them out? Or even better, something I could spray to keep them away from the door altogether?

be dormered or I think they call it a dog house added? The upstairs is NOT dormered now. I don't have the money to dormer the entire upstairs, I just want to add a bathroom with shower stall, sink & toilet. Any idea on costs? I live in Long Island, NY.

Thanks!
