You start with the slab or base. most codes require footers to be dug...a footer is a 1 ft by 1ft. wide by 1ft. deep. this surrounds the base or slab. Then you need to frame the structure with 2x4 pine. this means you have to have 2x4's going around the perimeter of the base. Then you frame the the walls on 24" centers. after that you have to set trusses for the roof, that creates the frame for plywood sheets. then sheet the internal part of the structure, insulate and add the external sheets of plywood to seal the insulation. shingle the roof. make sure you create door and window openings along the way so you can enter the dwelling. paint with your choice of colors but use a primer and sealer when doing so to prevent decay of the wood. Add a heat pump for comfort! ps. you need iron rebar in the slab before you pour your concrete!

that's pretty small, main parts would be bathroom/kitchen and sleeping... think i'd have a small area for a toilet and small shower with a wall for privacy. then id have a small kitchen and maybe have a fold down table that would cover the cabinets and act as a large platform (table / work bench) and a half loft for sleeping. think a configuration like that would be best.
