Hello, I have this chair that I'd like to appropriately give information on before I sell it. Some one once said that it looked like 1970's Mexican style(forgive the uneducated explaination). It has no backing, with a red velvet seat and beautiful wooden carved legs. Anyone know of a free site that I could educate myself with, or anyone know right off hand? Any help is great!

Not sure of a web-site, but check with a antique dealer, be sure it is one you feel you can trust.

When you say 1970's Mexican I know exactly what you mean. That kind of stuff was so popular in the 70's. That said, I doubt you're sitting on a goldmine. Maybe you could describe it as kitsch.
If it doesn't have a back then wouldn't it be a stool?

Go to a pond shop, just to get an idea.
