I have this plant in a pot on my desk here at work and there are these little bugs around the soil and flying by the leaves. They are really small almost like fruit flies or gnats, but nonetheless they are very annoying adn I am wondering if they are going to harm my plant. I gave it some water with a little bit of dish soap yesterday, but they are still there.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started demo'ing my bathroom and I expect to put down time and new vanities in a week or so. Is it unwise to remove the existing fixtures? Will sewer gas (actually, I have septic) come into the house and make it smell worse than my 3 boys already have?

Can I just duct tape it shut?

Thanks!

I am in high school and live with my parents, both smokers, they refuse to quit even though they are killing me. I spray the shirt I am going to where the night before then again when I wake up with fabreeze. Today my Economics teacher said I stink, and that I am a smoker, in front of the class.
Please someone tell me how to get rid of it.

I put Advantix on my dog and a Preventik collar. I have sprayed the entire front and back lawn AND put down Diatamacious Earth around the perimeter. I set off 5 foggers inside as well as completely dusting the entire house HEAVILY with Diatamacious Earth which is STILL all along the walls of each room. I let the dog indoors for less than 5 minutes and BAM, I had to kill 5 ticks from the tile floor. I am LOSING IT. What can I do to kill these little bastards?

I have used baking soda and that doesn't work.
The smell of my big plants is sickening when you get up to them. What do I do besides throw them out? They are big and beautiful.

My co-worker bought some Macintosh Apples, and they were great. I would like to grow them in my yard, but I don't know how to start. I want to make sure I get the same result as the apple I tasted.

I have a flower bed by my front porch that never gets direct sunlight. Whats a good plant that will live all year round and is pretty and low maintenance? We live in Oklahoma where the winters are fairly mild.
