Place the books in a cardboard box with activated charcoal for about a week. You might also place a moisture absorber like the DampRid tub in with the books and charcoal. The DampRid crystals will absorb any moisure out of the book (if there still is any) to prohibit future mold and mildew growth and the activated charcoal absorbs odors.

image voltaic will yellow the pages straight away. Fill a pail with kitty clutter. Bury the books for per week contained in the clutter. it really is about all you are able to do without detrimental the books more effective. do not placed newspaper between the pages like that moron suggested. that is going to stain the pages with the ink.
