Hey I'm another broke college student. did 2 bigs loads of wash just now, to find out that the dryer doesn't work. We have clothes lines but it's pretty cold outside. There's no hooks or anything in my room so I didn't have a choice, I hung all my shirts pants underwear and socks out there. Is that ok? I guess it doesn't matter at this point, but I may as well ask.

When the heating is on the room fills up with the choking smell of burned dust. My radiator has two panels with thin grills between them. I cannot fit my vacuum cleaner between them and it's too small for my feather duster.

I live in an apartment where I do not control my heat. I live in New York State, so it gets pretty cold here. It is permissable to have a fireplace and I already know the pros and cons of having one. My question is: should I go with electric or use burning gels. Which is more realistic, economical and warmer. Can anyone recommend a particular site, store or brand? I have searhed all the sites I could think of and obviously came up with almost no information. I even tried consumer rated sites. HELP! It is getting cold real fast here!

Has polyethylene pipes and I do not know what to do. I have leaks in bathrooms, closets, kitchen and etc. I need to know what to do since there might be a possibility that my insurance may not cover it. I bought my home in 2000 from Oakwood.

Is there something I can mix up myself at home to pour down my drains to keep them cleaned and freshened? Like baking soda and lemon juice or something like that.

I keep getting these black things on the leaves of my gardenia plant & it's killing the leaves & the flower buds before they have time to bloom. It ends up killing my plant. I keep buying gardenias & the same thing happens every time.I bought a chemical free bug spray recommeded by an employee from Home Depot. The spray only lasted about a week & these black spots reappear on the leaves again. I cleaned the leaves with rubbing alcohol & they still come back. A friend told me to ferterlize the plant & that didn't work either. What else can I do? I left one plant in the pot & I planted one in the ground & eventually the black spots appeared & it's killing the plant. Help!!

Builder left big gaps between roof surface and adjoining gables. Have multiple wasp nests (red/gold/brown) that have infested front of house. Pest extermination (dusting/spraying) does not help and no clear shot at the nests (inside of crevices)
