I REALLY REALLY wish roaches would get extincted already. They are no help or otherwise they are useless. I find them in my house mostly in the winters and my house is clean!! So idk what to do. And this is funny. Whenever I see a roach, I jump on a table and SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMMMMMM. I have no clue why I'm so afraid of them! I just wish they would all die. But I'm not afraid of spiders or ants or anything. Cept bees. I can't stand them. Anyways, today I thought I saw a roach on the ground while I was walking to the kitchen, and so I screamed and jumped on the kitchen table (gross!) and screamed "MOMMY HELP ME, ROACH!!" LMFAO. (I'm 16 by the way) And my mom came running in the kitchen and she saw the so called "roach" and picked it up! And when she put it close to my face, it was a feather, from my bird!! I was so embarrassed, but luckily, I only live with my mom. Turns out I was scared of a feather. Amusing..

we have removed a radiator in the bathroom and capped it off - can this break the central heating circuit and therefore stop the central heating working? if the 2 capped pipes are then reconnected, will the central heating work again? its an older style system and i'm not sure if the circuit needs to be complete for the central heating to work

When I was about 9 or 10 years old, my dad said when I was 18, killer bees would invade my state. I'm 16 now, and I've been wondering....is he lying or what? Cause I haven't heard of this on the news or anything. I personally think he's lying. Haha!

I have a King Sized Iron bed, which consists of two metal L-shaped rails running down the sides, each roughly 1 inch wide, whcih came with several wooden slats to rest between them.

The mattress I bought was a pocket-sprung mattress (to avoid back problems from an old, spring one). This means direct pressure on the mattress passes through to the slat(s) directly below (rather than spreading out my weight across the slats). So if myself and my pertner lean too hevily on the same slat(s) they bend too much and "pop" through the frame. This happens far too easily and too often, just turning onto my side must be done with care !

This has been getting worse over time. Could this be because I need to buy new slats ? Or can I get more solid slats ? I have been to a lumber merchant to ask about "a more sturdy, denser" type of wood, but they looked at me as if I was mad ! Bascially I need wood slat that can support two people across the 6 foot width of my bed.

Please help me get more sleep !

I used some blue tac to hang posters on my wall. Due to heat from the radiators, they kinda smelted onto the walls. I am moving out soon and I don't want to damage the walls because of my deposit...help! ^^

I have a wide open space that I'd like to plant a Phoenix Canariensis (aka Phoenix Palm or Canary Island Palm) in. They look like slow growers. How much will it grow per year? I don't want to wait forever to fill out that plot.

I also have Washingtonia Filifera palms (aka Desert Fan Palm) that grow great, about 1 meter/year. But I prefer the Phoenix for the rich crown & space filling.

Both types of palms grow great in our area.

I recently used disposal to chop up apple peelings, since then the drain has run very sluggishly and when the dishwasher runs, the sink fills with the water, causing overflow due to slow drainage. Any ideas how to speed up or unblock without my calling in a plumber?

The idea is to be able to 'bend' the ply, into a circle about 350mm wide --- and to laminate it for strength.
