I want to bleach white T-shirts, but don't want to ruin clothes in the next loads. Do I need to run an "empty" load to rinse the bleach out of the washer before I put other clothes in?

Hi I am a poor lazy bum, if I'd prefer to wash my shirts in laundry without drying, which level (hot/warm/synthtic) should I use? After the wash, shall I just hang them up to let gravity do the job? Or do I have to iron them to make it crispy smooth?

Any time and money saving tips would do, thanks a bundle!

Responses to my previous question on which hoover is the best, seem to be split on dysons. Have you had one? How long have you had it? Which model do you have? Does it work well? If not, why not?
Thanks. :)

Thanks.

Hi there, I'm a novice gardener.. planted some lovely marigold infront of the house.. I ave noticed massive holes on the marigold leaves. I don't think these are caused by slugs and snails as I covered the surrounding with pellets already. I can't find any worms (yet!) so what could it be? and what do you do to protect your flowers from pests? (it rains here... so pesticide is short term only!)

I have outside facilities like a court yard, but I am hoping to send it somewhere, where a prof can dry it for me. Anybody know anyone who can do this for me at low costs?

I just bought a new home and we had a lot of rain. I noticed a water stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. The warranty guy said that he will have the roofer come back to reseal the vents on the roof. (my house is not the only one that had this issue). They are sending out a sheetrock replacement person but when I asked about replacing the insulation that was wet he said the sheetrock person doesn't do that and they were not going to replace it. I told him that it needed to be replaced. I do NOT and I am sure there are others that don't want mold/mildew growing inside the walls. He proceeded to tell me that we don't have mildew in TX and that mold & mildew are not the same thing. I don't care about the difference between the two. I know neither one is good. I just want it replaced, you can tell that the insulation has been wet. I don't want problems in the future.

Hi all, I have a Indesit washing machine that is producing the most vile disgusting smell come up through my kitchen sink everytime I use it. I have tried putting bleach down the sink but this has not worked. I feel sick everytime I use it but with 7 of us in this house I cannot afford not to use it! Is there any product I can get that will do anything here???? Thanks ever so much.

My orchid is in a clear plastic pot and the roots look healthy but 'squashed'. Do I repot it? I tried repotting the last orchid I had and it died, so I am a little reticent in case I do the same again!
