i'm another dyson fan. i've had mine for 6 years, and i've had no problems with it. also. it's quite alarming when u first get one and use it for the first time, u get to see all the stuff that your old vacuum cleaner didn't pick up - especially if u have pets. there is a good range available, from basic ones, up to the ones that have the allergy filtration system........ i wouldn't consider getting a different brand of vaccum now i've owned a dyson.

Depends on your budget. I prefer a cylinder, you can do more with it like suck the dust out of the air vents on your pc and playstation, dust the ceiling and curtain rail ! Plus you're not pushiing the weight of the motor around when you use it.
I reckon the Henry is really good value, it lasts for ages but you need to replace dust bags. The Dyson is bagless, but costs a lot more.

I have experienced a number of vacuum cleaning devices and Dyson wins by a mile.
Sucks up all my white fluffy cats hairs that are all over the house!

Have tried Hoover, Electrolux, Sansung and others over the years, now have Dyson - no comparison. Its the best I have ever had, and have been using them for over 30 years!

I just bought a VAX Turbo and it's brilliant, has an attachment for pet's hair that really works, much better than the dyson that i had previously.

Definately not Dyson for me,theyre alright for large carpets, but far too bulky and heavy for doing the stairs,I have tried them but have gone back to Electrolux,I love them.

I'd have to recommend Dyson too - they work for me and they're relatively inexpensive.
Not heard of them in a while, but if money is no object, Kirby is pretty damn good too.

Dysons sold out and moved their manufacturing plant away from the UK so I would buy one out of principle
