I am installing a 1/2 bath, the toilet will be about 8 ft. from the main bathroom, the sewer line comes out of the ground undre the house and has a 2" y that goes up for the sink and then thru the roof for a vent this 2" line also has a y in it that the bath tub drains into. My question is will I need to run another 2" line thru the roof to vent the new toilet and sink?

Im not sure why it happens. It's happened on both the main and second floor but mostly in the upstairs. I haven't been able to connect this issue with anything else that's happening in the house at the same time. Just sometimes I notice that the water in the bowl is really low, like less than half of the 'normal'. I heard something about it on tv once, but I didn't hear enough of the segment.
Is it an indication of a problem somewhere? It doesn't stop me from flushing or anything, I'm just wondering why.

If I have stripped paint off a wall back to the plaster, can I paint directly onto the plaster? When I stripped the paint, the plaster seemed to be covered in a light blue coating which came off with the old paint - do I need to put anything on the orange/brown plaster before painting?

1. Do I hook up the compressor and open one zone at a time by using those "1/4 turn" valves inside the box outside?

2. I have more than one ground box with those valves in it in different parts of the yard. Do they operate independently from the main box near the house or does a specific valve inside the main box need to be opened for the valves in one of those smaller boxes to be activated?

3. having trouble finding the right compressor fitting - i think its 1/8" but the fitting I have looks like it has tighter threads.

4. This is a clean/dirty system which uses well water - because of this is there anything else I need to consider?
