Difference between home and a house are -
A home is a place where a person or family lives, perhaps spends much of their time, or where a person is comfortable being. While a house (or other residential dwelling) is often referred to as a home, the concept of "home" is broader than a physical dwelling. Home is often a place of refuge and safety, where worldly cares fade and the things and people that one loves becomes the focus. Many people think of home in terms of where they grew up, or a time rather than a place.
The word "home" is also used for various residential institutions which aspire to create a home-like atmosphere, such as a retirement home, a nursing home, a 'group home' (an orphanage for children or a retirement home for adults), a foster home, etc.
House
People construct houses as dwelling-spaces for human habitation. Such dwellings generally feature enclosing walls and a roof to protect against precipitation, wind, heat, cold and intruders. Animals may often live inside a house as well, both domestic pets and "unwanted" animals (such as mice living in the walls). The word "house" may also apply to a building provided to shelter animals, especially within a zoo.
The house often provides a permanent residence for a family or for a similar social unit. When occupying a house routinely as a dwelling, English-speaking people may call this building their "home". People may leave their house most of the day for work and recreation, but typically return 'home", to their house, at least for sleeping.

A family can live in a house and if they are always arguing and not getting along then it's not a home. A home is the people in it ... they care about each other, are loyal, laugh together, play together and are normally happy, but not without some trials and tribulations along the way. It's the way family acts towards each other that either just makes it a house (wood, stone, siding, etc.) or a home with great personalities.

Aha!
A good simple question
But an answer that needs deep thoughts
Weighed down by various factors
A question that stir tears for some
Memories
What went wrong
How
Why
If
If you are of age and with experience
Then only will you grasp this answer of mine
Maybe in your later years
But I sincerely hope not
May God bless you a warm and blissful home

A home is the place you live no matter what or where it may be. A house is the building that can be used as shelter. Your home could be a box and still be a home. that doesn't make it a house.

A house is the physical building. A home is a place where you reside that has love and warmth. A home could be a house, a trailer, a hut, a car, anywhere where you and your loved ones are.

A house is a structure. A home is where you make a place to live, regardless of where it is! If you have made yourself a comfortable place to settle-thats home!
