We had a new boiler fitted a couple of months ago. First thing I did was, I bled them all, turned the heating on to make sure they were working ok and they were, but for some reason the upstairs ones aren't coming on now. Downstairs ones are fine. Anyone know what the problem could be?

(just to let you know, it's only yesterday and today we've started puttin them on properly)

Thanks

my son and I have been experiencing trouble @home,i was assulted a few weeks ago in front of my son,and because of the assult,we had been placed on the emergency re-housing list a the council. To cut a long story short,we have been offered a bigger flat, but the other side of town and away from our family. The new place needs a lot of work doing on it,and its in a slighty rough area of town.If I decide not to take this place,i will probably be wiped off the priority list, and we will have to stay here in a place that makes me feel anxious. If I do take it,it will mean living in a badly conditioned flat for a while ,whilst I try and get the money together to make it liveable(im a single parent)what do you think I should do?

I have a large house and everthing is stain. Stairs, windows, doors, base moulding, etc. I was wondering, what is the best way to paint over this wood? The only coat of stain that has been applied is the Minwax brand. Most oft he wood has been stained over 10 years ago, but some of the wood was stained about a year ago. Should I prime this wood first? And if so what type of primer should I use? Or is there a better way without priming and then painting?

I have an exterior (front) door with some glazing/a window in it, approx 24" x 36" in size. For privacy/security reasons I need to cover over this window at night. I haven't yet been able to find anything suitable - light enough, easy enough to open, easy to install on the door. Does anyone make blinds or covers specifically for this purpose? Or has anyone come up with a DIY solution?
