You don't have to own it and it doesn't have to be material in nature. It may be something which and others benefit from.

Ok so What attracts Maggots?(I think that is what they are) The other day I left the lettuce out and later went back to throw it out and there they were, but then i cleaned the counter off with clorox and killed them all and the next day there were 3 more on the counter on a towel (the towel was a little moist) so then i tried to wash them off of the towel and one started coming back up the sink. What do I do???

They've stopped carrying it, and no one remembers the brand name. The designs are different than anything else I'm finding.

The boiler is fine as it supplied hot water all through the summer. If I just turn on the central heating it makes a whizzing noise and won't fire up. If I turn on the hot water switch and let it run for a while and then turn on the central heating switch. The radiators turn on only in certain rooms. It will then only run for an hour or so and then stops. Even though the switch panel on the wall says it's on. I live in a flat and my water tank is in a top cuboard above the heating systems water tank and it is making a constant running water/gurgling sound and it's venting steam. I have my honeywell stat set at 65. If I turn this down the heating just shuts down along with the hot water.

Any quick ideas before I have to take out a small mortgage to pay for somebody to come in. Many thanks.

Does it add to the electric bill to have this switched on all the time?

My oven has black painted tin/metal on the upper portion where the clock and timer are. It has been scratched while cleaning it by a sponge that has the scotchbrite scrubber on one side. It is very noticeable since it is black. Does anyone know how to repair this?

Is it as simple as hooking up the gas and electric to the furnace and then hooking up the ducts and vent? Am I missing something? I am trying to decide if I can replace my old furnace on my own. Thank you.

My condo building's front yard has an ugly brick wall adjacent to it on one side. What is a good plant to plant there, as to cover up the wall?

Hi, I think I have more than one problem on our Central Heating system. Its a 1930's house, just bought so little cash for expensive repairs.

Downstairs rads have a twin pipe (10mm) going into each rad valve on one side only. Upstairs is 15mm conventional, pipe in one side, out the other.
Upstairs, one rad (bathroom) works great, others are cold with feed pipes also cold. Why? Air blockage in pipe that tees off to bedroom? If so how do I resolve?
Thanks for your time!

Downstairs, one rad is hot, another only gets warm (though pipes are hot), the third is cold whilst pipes are hot. (Valves open) Why? Sludge ?

My son has colored all over the walls of his bedroom and I want to know if I can just buy white paint and paint the entire bedroom or if I have to first try and clean off the crayons and then repaint?

I just bought a house with a second floor where my childerens rooms will be. They are young, 3,4 and 6. I am concerened that they will open the windows and possibly fall out. Is there a product out there that locks windows closed? I need one that my inventive kids cant break or remove. ( they know how to work the little tabs you can pop out as an extra locking precaution) I already have had problems with them unlocking and opening windows. I just want to keep them safe.

I would like to have the safety of the protective guards but also, i want to be able to get out quickly and safely, if a fire should occur. I want them to be security for me but also easy to open or get out.
