They will usually take root when they are transplanted if you get a large amount of the soundering dirt and also water.

Morning Glories are annuals. You can transplant them but they won't live through frost. If you bring them in the house they probably won't grow very well.

Why would you want to? The seeds are cheap and they spread like crazy....You'll have them in the same spot next year anyway. Where I come from, they are considered noxious weeds and are killed on purpose so keeping it makes no sense to me.

you have to root them in water then plant in dirt
