It's a emerald cashmere scarf my father gave my mother about 40 years ago to remind her of her home back in Ireland. They're both gone but I still wear it.

although i live in a town the back of my house overlooks the end of someones garden which runs parallel to my garden, there are a few rather large fur type trees, if I look directly out of my living room window i cannot see the houses to which they belong, just watching the trees and feeling that I am surrounded by nature rather than town is a really nice feeling. Shame I cant say the same if I look out the front of the house!!!

My collection of plush frogs- They are so cheerful and lively-looking, they brighten anyone's day. They're great for cheering up sad kids, brightening a dull day, etc. One of them has even accompanied me into surgery twice (nothing makes a recovery room nicer than a smiling face, even if it's a plushie). :)

I have green candles that I have on the kitchen table. It's the perfect color green; so calming, so relaxing, and they're apple scented. My hubby, when he was just my boyfriend, used to burn candles just like them, when I'd go to his apartment when we were dating. It must be a color-fragrance-feeling association.
