Ok so What attracts Maggots?(I think that is what they are) The other day I left the lettuce out and later went back to throw it out and there they were, but then i cleaned the counter off with clorox and killed them all and the next day there were 3 more on the counter on a towel (the towel was a little moist) so then i tried to wash them off of the towel and one started coming back up the sink. What do I do???

there is a little flying bug that looks like a baby moth, that gets into the dry goods in the kitchen cabinets and any place you store dry food.. check all the food and see if there is any sign of infestation.. if there is,, put all in a plastic bags and take it out 2 the garbage right away and wash down your cabinets.. also watch out 4 the mom and dads, hanging around the celings.. fly swatter would be good 4 that.. if it's flies, in your home,, check at the hardware store and see if they have the old fly paper.. hang it up.. it's ugly, but does the job.. bummer eh..

Maggots need moisture to live. Get rid of the moisture. Don't throw them down the sink, throw them in the trash, seal the trash, and get rid of the trash. Maggots are caused by flies laying eggs on stuff.

You hafta get rid of the flies... Maggots grow up to be flies.
Think of dog poop. Flies like to lay eggs in doggy-doo 'cause it's warm and soft. Clean your kitchen - put everything away, and get rid of the flies.
