Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

Getting candle wax out of carpet is tricky but can be done.
Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can. Fill a zipper-type plastic bag with ice cubes and place the bag over any remaining wax. The cold will make the wax more brittle, enabling you to scrape off additional wax with the butter knife. Repeat this procedure as necessary to remove as much wax as possible. Be careful to not disturb the original condition of the fibers.
To remove any remaining wax, finish up by using a warm iron and a butter knife. The website listed below also has tips for other stains, Best of luck.

First get the wax as cold as possible with a bag of ice. Scrape the largest chunks up with a spatula. Now get a pile of newspapers and a hot iron. Use a three layers of paper. Put the paper over the wax and iron back and forth for just a minute. Then get three more layers and iron for another minute or so. Repeat this process a few times until all the wax is gone.

First, use an ice cube to freeze it, then break up and off as much as possible - Then you will have better results with heating it with an iron - use an old towel over the spot and iron over it - then use a paper bag to fine melt what's left, being very careful not to overheat or hit the carpet with the hot iron (as it will melt almost immediately.) It has worked for me suitably, not perfectly, but well enough, (and my husband never knew !!)

Put a peice of paper towel over top of the wax, then take your iron and iron over the wax on top of the paper towel. The wax will melt off onto the paper towel... believe me, with my two neices running around, Ive had to do this plenty!

Put brown paper over the wax and then iron it with a warm iron. The wax should then melt and go onto the paper. If your carpet is nylon, or another man made fibre, then be careful that you do not melt it.

scrape off what you can, sometimes using an ice cube will make it easier to get up,then put a paper bag or a stack of paper towels down and heat and the wax should come up might have to repeat several times to get it.be sure and clean the surface of your iron afterward to get of any accumulated wax but after that your iron will be really smooth to iron with

Try using brown paper and a hot iron. Iron the paper carefully and the wax will stick to the shiny surface.
Handle carefully of course or you might hurt yourself.
