I have a shower/tub combo with a problem that I can't seem to fix. There is not enough water pressure when I pull the diverter on the faucet to force water out of the shower head. The pressure in the rest of the bathroom is fine. I have checked the valves and replaced the faucet...what else should I check/replace?

We did not get the insualtion put it, it must have been done over 20 years ago and the house is about 50 years old!

The new sanded grout was put in yesterday and it's darker than the rest of the grout. The repair man said that it would be darker until it dries and that it would take 48-72 hours for it to dry, but I am concerned. Shouldn't I be??

Want to make centerpieces that are original but easy for about 20 tabletops at my job. The centerpieces need to be fall theme but can last through Christmas. The centerpieces must have no glass or breakable products in them because it is for a nursing home facilty and the patients can not injury themselves with them by accident.

Where is the best place to put them-up high or down low. Does carbon monoxide tend to rise (like smoke will) or is it a heavy gas and build from the floor up? I notice many detectors are made to plug directly into an outlet, and many outlets are closer to the floor. I know carbon monoxide will eventually fill the room or building, but of course I don't want to let it get that far. So what's the best location for a detector?

Why if we buy expensive water faucets and fixtures, we can't buy sensor drived water saving faucets and fixtures to save water in our home, like in the shower, toilette, hand wash, in the kitchen when washing dishes or doing our dinner, this will cut water consumption almost a half or more, I know american people expend even hundreds in water fixtures that don't have sensors saving, a water fixtures whit sensor saving is the same amount an expensive one, and this save water that is already a priority on the world.

An inspection of a house I want to purchase noted that neither of the furnaces were equipped with fire-o-matic switches. I assume these switches turn off the gas to the furnace if there is a fire. Would this be covered in local building codes or in the local fire code? I am in Rhode Island.
