Use Melapower and Melabrite by Melaleuca and the prespot cleaner soak it in ice cold water. Then wash in cold water. Check for any remaining stains before putting in the dryer. Anything hot will set the blood stain. Bleach does not work I've tried once it is set in. Melaleuca is an environmentally safe laundry detergent I would also pour the Melabrite directly on the stain and watch it disappear. This product works awesome. I can't rave enough about it.

If blood stain is fresh, soak in cold water, and rub with liquid dish washing detergent. Rinse with cold water. Repeat this process several times. Next apply a household ammonia solution consisting of one tablespoon household ammonia to one cup of cold water. Blot up the excess moisture. If the stain has not been removed, make a paste of water and an enzyme laundry product. After using chemicals, rinse with cool water until the entire residue of the cleaning materials are gone. Blot up the excess moisture.

If the bedding is still stained you may have to consider buying more sheets, covers etc... Or may be you could dye them..

Good luck

Try getting the stain out right away as soon as you realize. Pour laundry detergent on the stains and rub the fabric together between your knuckles vigorously. Then you can rinse it out. It will take a long time to rinse out because the laundry detergent is so concentrated.

Something else you can try is using Shout. I used it on a blood stain once but it was some time before I actually found the stain. It got most of it out but a bit of the stain was left.

Something else I would suggest is buying dark sheets like navy blue or dark red so that the stains don't show.

I had a cut on my heel that bleed on to my sheets and leaked through to the matteress. I tried all the usual things to try to remove the stains to no avail. I figured that i would have to throw the sheet out and have a stain on the matteress so I tried everything in the cupboard as a last resort. After trying everything in the cupboard to get rid of the stain I found that Windolene got rid of the stain. (Suprised as its a window cleaner) I have found that it removes blood stains rather effectively. It left a light green stain on the matteress. Which came out with simply by wiping with soap and water. It works on shirts collars too (minor cuts from shaving)
How ever I use Windolene with pure vinegar Ocean Fresh. I cant speak for all of their products but this particular one is good for removing blood stains. I cant explain how it works or why but it does. Spray it on to the stain scrub it and reapeat if nessacary then wash as normal. It has saved me a from having to buy new sheets and a ugly stain on my matteress.
Hope it helps

Hydrogen peroxide is great at getting out fresh blood stains, be sure to do a color safety check on a small part of the fabric. Pour hydrogen peroxide onto the stain and rub thoroughly. Wash in cold water.

If I were you I would take teh bedding and soak it in cold water for a while with a little bit of bleach or bleach for colors and then scrub in some of the laundry detergent you use and put the bedding on a regular wash cycle in the washing machine.. the satin should come out before you go to put it in the washing machine.

Soak in cold water before washing. If you can, use a biological powder. If they have been washed chances are the stain has set. The oxi clean stain removers will work but you will have to retreat several times
By the way, the pronoun " I " should be in upper case.

Salt is really good at removing blood stains, make up a salt solution and leave the sheets to soak, Vanish soap is also really good at removing stains.

Try Stain Devils - little bottles you'll find near the other stain removal stuff. There's about 5 different kinds, one for blood. Absolutely excellent stuff.

Clorox stain out works really good. Ice cubes are good to get the dried stains wet again, don't use hot water, it doesn't work for blood. Then spray the clorox and wipe clean.
