There are several remedies for a moth problem in your closet. They range from the chemical, like sprays or insecticides, to the more environmentally friendly. You may opt to pack clothing in plastic, or use a pheromone insect trap.

I would keep moth balls theres for sure.. Also. I would definitely spray to get (kill) existing moths and one week later, spray again to kill the larvae that come out.. I have found that by keeping moth balls in the closet, you will have no problems with moths

Want to do it the cheap chemical free way? Buy some cedar essential oil and put it on cotton balls. Put the cotton balls in the closet. The moths will not tolerate the scent and will leave. As for the larvae, you will need to wash everything.
Good luck.

Buy either moth balls or moth flakes and use as recommended on the package. You can purchase at most grocery stores or home improvement stores.
