My husband and I are building a house, and we like this one. What is your opinion on it, and opinion on building a log home? Do you like it?

Hi, I love log cabins/houses, love the metal roofs too. The house looks great, just one thing I don't (personally) like is the cabinet style that looks like barn doors, I would do without that detail of the kitchen, and maybe also the stone under the bar, kinda big aren't they?
But overall, looks beautiful, go for it, goodluck.

It looks great especially if you like the log home style. It is not what I would go for as I don't particularly like so much wood but I can appreciate the beauty in it.

I absolutely love it. Build it. My parents had built themselves a log cabin and I love it. To me they define country home a lot better than a trailor or a home that was built 50 years ago. Log cabins are extremely beautiful. I love this cabin. Go for it.

Oooo! I do like it. The tin roof is very ecomical. I love the stones in the footer and again in the kitchen. I also like the beems. Looks like a very cozy, family style home.

Nice, but why do you care if a bunch of people who will never even visit it , "like it"?
Building requires a lot of time and energy , don't you have more specific questions that would be of some use in the process ?

Yes it's very nice but it has to be in the right State and decorated correctly
