I live in Georgia and got a few cuts from my cousin's gardenia. I have no idea what variety I have; in my cousin's house it has grown almost 5 feet tall. Keep in mind my gardener skills (-3) and the fact that Georgia clay is the most horrible thing to work with.

The cuts already have roots and I just need to know how to improve the soil condition and when is the best time to plant. I want to place them facing South, under the second floor's deck of my house.

Weeds have overtaken my small back yard. I have weeds growing, no grass. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of weeds. I have tried counter products like "weed be gone" from home depot, but doesn't seem to work.

the main unit is outside hooked up to electric furnace inside.
i noticed it wasn't getting cool inside the house and removed the cover to the coils and they were froze white with ice. when it thawed it worked fine but will eventually freeze up again. between the thawing and freezing there is water dripping off into the floor as there is no drip pan and no room for one. we have been replacing the filters since the first freeze up but the first time we replaced them they were very stopped up

I ran out of money this summer so among other things I stopped watering my lawn. It got hot. The lawn turned brown. Kind of cool, because you don't have to mow much then, which meant my boyfriend didn't lose those extra pounds he gained over the winter. But now with a bit of rain and some watering, my lawn has come back, but it's more weeds then just grass now. What are some steps I can take to get rid of the weeds and get grass back in place. (It's really the landlord's lawn, but he took $75 off the rent when I agreed to take care of it myself -- oops!)

I am about to redecorate my bathroom and I want to cover plain white tiles with either coloured, mosaic or mirrored transfers. So far the only ones I can buy are on ebay and there isn't a large range. Does anyone know any high street or DIY stores that stock them? Thanks.

I would like to know how much to charge a couple which happens to be family(sister in law) expecting their first child and they are both ages 21 for skimming and painting their apartment .
Keep in mind that I do want to give some kind of discount being that they are family but I want to be fair too.

I do this work for a living and would be going after work to do this on select days and the commute would be about 3 hours daily.
below are the details.

hallway- 14 x 4- skim , prime and paint.
living room 20 x 18- skim coat, prime, paint
kitchen 13 x 11-remove wallpaper, skim, prime and paint
Pantry closet- skim , prime and paint.
bathroom- remove wallpaper, skim , prime paint
3 big closets skim , prime , paint
2 small closets - skim, prime, paint.
baby room 13 x 10 repair molding, skim prime and paint
master bedroom- 18.5 x 10.5 - insert cable wire into wall , skim prime, paint.
11 windows repair with wood filling, prime ,paint.

I would appreciate all answers and opinions.

Thank
