What precautions should I take working with molten lead? I've read alot about the dangers of lead and how melting lead creates lead fumes that can leave lead residue. I am interested in hearing how people who actually pour lead deal with the danger of lead poisoning. I am particularly interested in your views if you have poured lead as a plumber in an indoor setting.

Does the poor granny have to sit naked in the tub while the thing fills up and drains? Wouldn't opening the door to get in/out with the bath full of water let all the water out?

Alright I went to OSH today and bought a craftsman drill that was normally like 100bucks and got it at 50... So now I'm wondering whether or not I got a good tool... The only tools I've ever used were Ryobi and Black and Decker and they didnt have any of either of those at the store... So... Whatcha think? Is Craftsman a good tool?

I have a black & decker and a skill. Both 9.6v. The batteries look identical except for the name of course. Is it safe to use a charger from one or the other instead of 2 differant chargers? Will it be safe to use the batteries in the opposite drill?

I have a black and white pair of slip-on vans (they are canvas) and they are very dirty with a red pollen type dust and some dirt and stuff and I would just like to know how to clean them, every website that I go to says lemon juice, but I don't want to mess up the black part of the shoes and I don't think that just soapy water will do the trick. Thanks in advance.
