Hi,
I had a college placement for the diploma course in floristry but the college 'short listed' me and I missed out!
So I found a florist to take me on board once a week to learn the trade. I want to buy a book to help me along,I have looked at different ones online but can't decide which one will help me the most.

Can anyone recommend a really good floristry book?

Thank You !

What has to be wrong with a house in order for inspectors to condemn the house. Can it include floors or roofs not structurally sound? What about plumbing?

Window size is 24" x 60". I have 18 windows and was quoted and am trying to determine if I am better off buying windows from homedepot and hiring a contractor to install. A gerneral idea of cost of installation is what I'm looking for.

I think it might be birds or mice, I can hear scratching and bits of plaster falling into the cavity wall. How did they get in, no noticeable damage to the outside of the house. More importantly, how to get rid of them, reluctant to trap as decomposing vermin it not really the ambient smell I go for. Definitely no food or even crumbs they could eat anywhere in the house, I'm fanatical but, I heard they can live on paper, is that true? Has anyone else had a similar experience? I've never had anything like this before and I don't like it a bit. The house is rented, is it something the landlord needs to sort out?

The flooring we have is real wood, it's not the cheap stuff. Someone told me you're not supposed to use any water. So, what do I use?

meaning the sheets, pillow shams, and fitted sht. all for $90.00 and
the thread count is 230. They have brocade fabric on the sheet border.

My friend saw it and she said these sheets will not wash well and will deteriorate fast. I was thinking is this quality and did I pay too much?

I need to drills about 8 5/8" holes in concrete. They are located in a computer room. The guy that I am drilling the holes for is insisting that a wet drill them to keep the dust down. Is there a special tool to do this or do I just spray water on the hole as I drill?

Many thanks

Every other maple in our yard (every other tree for that matter) is turning colors now that autumn is here. (We live in NH.) But the one maple right in front of the house is stubbornly remaining green. Why is it not changing? It looks sort of odd. Maybe the tree is rebelling against the forthcoming winter? LOL What do you think?
