my husband pees in the shower and tells me its normal. i say its weird. do others pee in the shower?

I never thought much about doing that until lately, but... I read about a detox soak style known as "urine therapy." Both general detox and cleanup of specific things such as athlete's foot. I don't kid you. Urine is not only sterile, but its alkaline nature can serve to release toxins through your pores. Same thing that certain oils and creams can do, only urine is "greener" i.e. more natural.
So for those who think that peeing in the bath while soaking (let alone showering) is gross, nasty to sit in, consider this: turn on a hot shower both before AND after you soak. The first time is as you start filling the tub; the second is to expedite rinsing the tub while draining it. You could even gargle mouthwash (or just pour it) directly onto the tub section opposite the drain while it's draining. Just don't make urine therapy a regular thing if you don't plan on cleaning the tub all the time.
As for peeing during overhead shower, I recommend DO make that a regular thing, as it saves on water ("Go with the flow"). Schedule pee and shower time to coincide as much as possible.

I honestly was kinda "eh ew" about this whole subject but now I think it should be done by everyone to save money, water, and time. Definitely just go if you're in there because yes it'll wash out. If you're afraid of your foot covered in piss, wait until it drains and then rinse off your foot with some soap and water.

If you have the shower on then it's normal, however, if you're using it instead of the toilet then that's a wee bit strange my friend.

Yes it's normal to pee in the shower. It all washes down anyway. Plus it's an effective deterrent and cure against athletes foot. At least he's not peeing while taking a bath and sitting in it.

It's normal and it feels great to just piss all over. It also saves time and is more convenient if you share a bathroom.

Yes - its the sound of running water that sets you off. If a male went to the doctors, and had to supply a urine sample, the nurse normally runs a tap. Small boys wee in the swimming pool, so I wouldnt worry about the shower - its running water, and it all goes down the drain.

I am so glad that this anonymous, but I pee in the shower. OMG- I can't beleive I fessed up. A lot, and I mean A LOT, of guys pee in the showere, but I guess that girls do too, because I do sometimes. Never in front of anyone though.

Not in your bath water then , you'd be bathing in your own wastes
.in another place with water preservation it would be considerate to not pee in your bath water.

It is normal, I mean half or even all man in the world who have access to the shower will pee in it, mostly during shower time. If you think about it, it is not gross. The urine that goes through the tiolet and the urine that goes through the shower hole are going to the same place. So its really not a big issue.
Try it your self one day. I guarantee you will like it. lol
