Section 8 is a federal program administered by the state. You need to contact your local Housing Authority which should be listed under your county government in your local phone book. Next step is to make application for benefits. If you are approved, you will receive a rent voucher issues through the Section 8 program. Your local housing authority should be able to provide you with assistance in finding a landlord that will accept Section 8 vouchers.

If you own a computer, and have internet connection, the gov most likely won't help you (unless your disabled). Good luck!

go to the housing authority, it should be in the phone book, or any if you have any state medical coverage or food stamps or welfare they can tell you where to go
