I have provided a couple of builders with copies of the drawings and structural engineers report and asked them for a detailed quote, ie a breakdown of costs for building works, electrical, plumbing, kitchens, bathrooms etc but all seem reluctant to provide this. They are happy to give me a total price but if I don't know exactly what is included, then the total cost could increase if they haven't accounted for everything I want. Is this normal? Should I be doing things differently? Any advice/help would be great.

I tried all kinds of pellets, gas from Home Depot and Lowes. My grass has a lot of mounds at all corners and the ghophers still keeps on digging. Is there a more effective way of getting rid of these rodents? They are destroying my lawn pretty bad.

The design on my bedroom ceiling is horrible. Before we moved in someone put a design on it that looks like when the paint was wet they got this idea of making little points sticking out all over the ceiling. Can someone please tell me how I can remove this. I don't want to scrap it off because It will be to messy to do. I need any good suggestions. Fixing this room would make me feel so much better.

Looking for helpfull answers - Get a plumber is not helpfull !!

Water from kitchen sink is coming up the bath plug hole when its drained. This is also the case from the bathroom sink.

At first it would eventually drain off but now the bath is totally blocked. I have tried plunging and pumping to no avail.

Is Costic Soda or similar products a good idea or do i have to remove all of my bath panels and start checking ubends etc for blockages?

They came in one day when my boyfriend left a bottle of wine open. Now they seem to be everywhere in the kitchen (not in the pantry or anything, but all over the counters, they've gotten into the bathroom, etc.)

This is exactly what they are :

I scrubbed it with a nylon scrubber, but I've heard you're not supposed to use soap or chemicals on them. What can i do? Some pieces are burned on, and I can't seem to get them off with just water.

Thanks!

I have 10 t-shirts in different colors, I don't know if the color will come off or not (when washing in the machine). I don't have time to hand wash them.

Is there any ways I can tell if their colors will come off or not?

Serious answer please, answer only if you know it. Thanx!
