I live in urban London and foxes have recently taken to using the decking in my garden as a toilet. Is there a "humane" way of deterring them from defecating there (up to 3 juicy lumps each night!!). I also have a toddler so any "deterrents" would need to be child-friendly too.

The system is gravity-fed. Only the kitchen has a direct connection to mains cold water - other rooms are fed from a tank. I have access to most of the pipework, so I can add a standpipe if needs be, but I want to avoid that if possible.

I've been fiddling about with the taps to flush the air out, but it's not very satisfactory (the problem comes back after a couple of days/weeks). I can't figure out where is the air coming in. I don't think there are any sections of pipe that are below ambient pressure - any explanation would be appreciated.

I have a letter which is written in black ink. Unfortunately the letter got wet in the rain and the ink has washed away. There are a few faint marks remaining. Is there any way I can make the marks darker to let me read the letter?

The tree grows from where the foundation meets the ground. Last year I cut the tree but it is back this year. Do not think I can dig out the roots because they are too far down. Anything I can use to kill them???

Need & wanting to sell my mother's house without a realtor. She is disabled and recently widowed. We need to downsize her into an updated handicap accessible house.
Need to know how to go about starting this FSBO and getting the most money for it.
What are the guildlines and what are most people looking for?
The house needs many repairs, approx. $20,000. We are asking $160,000.
House is on 7 acres country setting, in city limits. Wildlife in front yard. 2 wells, but can get city water. Many fruit trees; pears, concord grapes, grafted walnutnut trees The house is a wood /shingled English Cottage. Built in the 40-50's.
How do I begin?

I am interested in getting the 4pcs cooking set of stainless steel pots from IKEA (365+ series). It has three layers at the base for better conduction of heat - stainless steel, aluminium, stainless steel. The price is reasonable (compared to WMF brand) but I am not sure whether the pots and pans from IKEA is durable. How about the WMF stainless steel pots? They look pretty impressive too but the price a little pricey. Which brand (WMF or IKEA) is better? Please provide feedback if you have used it before.

I was reading someone else's questions about growing catnip, in which they also mentioned they really meant catnip not "pot", though reading the answers did sound a lot like what I have heard about growing marijuanna, anyways, WHY would someone want to grow catnip, I only have heard of it being useful in a cat toy, which is very easily and cheaply purchased at most stores. And it sounds very complicated to grow catnip, so why bother, what is the benefit. And WHY would someone think others would mistake catnip as a code for pot plants ARE the TWO RELATED in some way, and NO I don't want STONERS ONLY answers, I would like REAL answers.

I've lived in this apartment for about a year and a half and there's never been much of a problem with the toilet. These days though, the toilet's been clogging up. The bowl fills up and takes time to drain. I suspect it maybe because the flushing is crap as I've seen toilet paper residue lying around which of course soaks up. But still, I've seen the residue since last year and I told my roomates(just recently) to stop throwing the paper into the toilet unless it's number 2(Which of course would be flushed immediately). It's clogged about two times and both times we've used a plunger but now I'm having trouble with the plunger again. Just seeing if there are any other possibilities before I have to call my landlord to deal with it.

I relocated to Oklahoma City to be closer to my daughter who had some physical challenges. I had to leave my furniture in storage in Chicago in order to move quickly (she had just had another surgery). I couldn't get a job as quickly as I wanted to, but I have one now. Now the storage bill is currently over $2000 and much more than I can afford. The moving company also wants an additional $3000 to deliver the furniture to me. I don't want to lose my furniture, but I don't have the money or resources to get it. If someone could help me with the storage bill and to rent a truck, I would drive back to Chicago to get the furniture and drive it to Oklahoma City myself. I just need help with the bill. I'm not asking anyone to give me the money directly. Any assistance offered can be sent directly to the moving and storage company, I just need the help. I will work out any payment arrangements to return the financial assistance. Can anyone help me?
