Could you use hemp to make 2x4s for building materials?

The fibers could be processed and fitted into a mold to make 2x4's in a process similar to that used to make OSB, BUT the final product will not have the same strength characteristics as solid wood dimensional lumber.

hemp is an excellent fiber. yes it grows fast and is strong
