I finally moved to my new home(apartment)-thanx for all your help-but somehow, the cockroaches followed me. What can I do to set up my home so that I don't have to worry about seeing those... things again. I already tried pest control and bombing the place, they don't seem to work too well. Is there any thing else I can do to my home?

Just had a load of little halogen downlighters fitted in my kitchen, and one has blown already. My problem is how to access the tiny bulb behind the glass. It seems to be held on with a very strong band of wire, which comes out in a triangle over one edge of the glass and the two ends of the wire come slightly across the glass on the opposite edge. Have tried prying the wire off at both these access points to no avail & don't want to break the glass. Is there a magic way of changing these bulbs??Any help appreciated.

We are due to complete on 20 October, but I do not understand how it works if you are in a chain, do we have to wait for the people higher up in the chain to finish moving stuff out, before we can start moving in? Wouldn't this leave the people at the bottom of the chain potentially waiting all day before they can start to move in?

A friend of mine has moved into a new house with a garden and I would like to get her a present of seeds for it. I'd like something like British Wildflowers, or herbs or something. Does anyone know where I can buy online?

I have had a fence line dispute and had my property surveyed. The finding was my back neighbor had moved the fence over on me at one end over 3 feet and about 18 8nches the other end. He also cut down 3 mature trees leaving the stumps. He has sense moved the fence inline with the survey line. In doing all this he left a big mess. When he had his tenant do the first fence he dug down 6 inches or better, now I have a ditch at the fence line, 3 tree trunks, My dog just gets filthy. Also his garage is one inch on my property and his roof extends over on my property about 8 inches. This man has been so nasty as if it was all my fault. I seen a lawyer and he advised me to go to small claims court. I have contacted several tree contrators to give me estimates on root removal The ditch needs to be filled in abd actually it needs to be soded. I am just learning what a water spout is, I was told today that the owner should not ae alowed to let his water run over on my property. HELP!

I live near Palm Springs, CA and spotted a large tree with massive spikes along the entire trunk. Not like the Honey Locust, these are big, solid SPIKES, not thorns. In the tree are growing fluffy, cotton-ball-looking things. No one seems to know what it is... and I can't get an anwers from Google. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks!
Eric

I am looking for a stuffed animal I had as a child, or at least a photo of one. It is either a lamb or a sheep, pink with black feet, I think maybe black ears too, and it is standing with stiff legs. The texture was kind of lumpy like a sheep I guess. I think it was about the size of a Yorkshire Terrier.

I had this within a few years prior to 1976. If you have the same could you send me a photo of it? Or I want to get one on ebay but I have had a hard time finding it. Thanks

P.S. Why is there no check spelling link for asking questions now, other than for the title ?

Sure it takes away the nuisance of constantly spitting out the pips, but are they meant to be more tastier than the fertile type?
