Mimosa tree. Large, takes up front yard. Has green splotches on it (a fungus I think) and big gashes.

I'm in the process of puchasing a new living room suit, I like the sectionals, but every display I see, has a ottoman instead of a coffe table. I like it, but what kind of items do I put on there(books, ash trays, flower arrangements etc.), because what do a person do with their coffe cups, cocktail or drinking glasses?

Hi all,I have a not so severe plumbing predicament that I will
like to repair myself. My hot water pressure/flow has reduced
in the kitchen/bathroom.In the kitchen, when I tap the pipes
full pressure runs out for a minute with rust or brown
colored water then it slows back up.Runs good for sometime
for a couple of weeks on and off.The pipes sre galvanized and
are not long runs being a small house. This started when a hotwater heater that was removed and replaced with a new one.
It was so full of sediment that it backed up thru the pipes. There has been repair and water shut off before and this has never happened
so I know it was the tank.the cold water pressure is fine.I would
like to know if changing the supply lines will fix the the problem
temporary or permanently? Do I need to change every section
of the supply lines or part of it? thanks all

It's 18 months old and has been carried around london every day of it's life. Now rather shiny and dark on the back and the front is getting a bit dry and scuffed and the leather is stiffer and lighter in colour than it was. I'd rather not pay a lot to have it dry cleaned/conditioned. Is there anything in hte house I can use? I've heard that you can use body lotion?

The drain under my bathtub takes an immediate 90 turn before taking another right hand turn to a trap(this tub drains to a pipe in the bottom of the trap). My 2nd floor tub also drains to this trap but enters from the top. Finally there is a pipe in the middle that releases the water from the trap.

We're remodeling a bathroom and I've heard conflicting information about shower floors. The natural stone is 1" x 1" tumbled noce travertine to be professionally installed and sealed in a 4 x6' area on the floor of the shower. One designer said it is too porous and is not recommended. A reference book does recommend it as a good material for wet areas. Any experience in this area is appreciated by professionals.

I bought a beautiful lavender plant in full bloom from the supermarket; I repotted it because it was rootbound. Now it's dying. Or at least all the leaves are drying up and falling off. Any suggestions? or is it a hopeless case?

I bought a house that the inspector said I need to put in plastic in the crawl space to help the insulation. There is a 3 foot gap between the dirt and the house above. But my friend who builds houses said I do not need it because of the gap above the dirt floor to the house wood above. Do you think I should lay down plastic for better insultation?
