To keep dust mites from being a big problem wash sheets and pillow cases every 3 days. If you have allergies or wake up with puffy eyes you should wash even more often. Comforters, depending on type should be washed AT LEAST 6 times a year. If your comforter is down filled it is best to have dry cleaned. Also if this is a childs comforter it may need washing even more often. Depending on how dirty it gets.

i like duvet covers over a undeniable white down comforter. the reason being that you'll be able to truly wash the quilt cover yet no longer a lot with a comforter. also, in case you modify your form, you could purchase a sparkling duvet cover for more competitively priced than a comforter in various situations. I keep in mind seeing some thing on amazon about how some comforters and duvet covers are set up that you'll be able to tie the comforter into each and every nook of the quilt cover. This keeps it in position fairly than bunching up. I had a ordinary comforter in college. Me and my 2 roommates were given matching comforters. even with the indisputable fact that, i favor to sparkling my bedding plenty lately and may want to continually bypass duvet! :)

If you have a maid and can afford it everyday! If you are like most of us and are busy less often. Once a week for sheets or when they are dirty. For the comforters when they are soiled.

Sheets weekly -- comforter as needed. Mine is dry clean and I probably do it less than I should. Blankets every few months. If you have dust mite allergies you are supposed to wash it all weekly.

Wash your sheets once a week in hot water. This reduces bed mites, dander, and dirt.
I love the feel of clean sheets on Sunday nights.. it is a good start to the coming week.
My comforters gets washed every other month or so.. my blankets...every other week.
It makes a person feel so much better when their linens are cleaned.. and smell better tooo... why take a bath only to have dirty sheets to sleep on?
doesn't make much sense to me why people don't realize to stay fresh.. they need fresh linens...lol. .ol. .loll .loll
