they have wings, their bodes look like ants, they were outside (by the thousand) and though I got rid of them, but now, they are in my kitchen and bathroom! help what should I do???

Some time ago, ants began to swarm around my patio and kitchen door after a heavy rain storm. I went to my utility closet to get a can of repellent, but grabbed a can of EndDust (brand name) and mistakenly sprayed the critters! Lo and behold, they were stopped DEAD in their tracks. Ever since then, that is the only thing I use on ants! (this is not an advertisement. Also, I would imagine this product would be much less toxic than a stronger repellent.

Call terminix, they are termites! When they come out in droves like that they are either nesting or eating. And right now they came out b/c they are about to nest for the winter, unless you are in a warm climate, then they are out to eat. And just an FYI contrary to common belief termites don't eat wood they such all the moisture out of it then the wood decays. But yes the only way to treat them is below ground which requires a specialist, if you don't do it, they will come back each year eating at the foundation of your home.

Most likely ants. Termites tend to stick to the job of building covered mud trails..... At least they do here in Barbados. Don't know where you are???
Try ant baits, they really do work. Commercial product available at your hardware store / Home Depot etc.

termites are like ants but they white and have no relations with ants.but this times male ants flies to have a empress ant.don't worry it takes a few days

if they are ants use borax and sugar mix it together then spread around foudation of house if you know were they are coming from put it there to the borax kills them and because of the sugar they bring it back to their den and it wipes out all of them ( borax soap )

check angieslist.com... find a reputable exterminator in your area, they can take care of it for you..... terminex is not always the best deal.
