Any paint store can mix the paint you need. Pay careful attention to the finish of the paint you are trying to match, (gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or flat) and then have them mix it to match. You might take a drawer that has that color on it with you to the paint store to have them match color and finish. The surface and location of what you intend to paint will determine what paint finish to use. Flat and satin are low gloss for walls and ceilings. Some flat and satin paints can become shiny if they are scrubbed, so these don't really work well for high traffic areas or areas that require frequent cleaning (kitchens or baths). Semi-gloss or a more durable satin (some stand up to scrubbing better than others) would be a better choice in those areas. Gloss paints are rarely used on walls and ceilings and are usually used on objects like furniture, chairs, stools, etc.

If it's upholstered, bring a cushion to Home Depot and they have a computer that analyzes the color and does a fair job of replicating it.

If it's wooden furniture that's painted a buttercream color, then I'd look up the toll-free number for Broyhill customer service and ask them what brand of paint they used on the piece you bought.
If you get someone helpful, they might even be able to tell you the shade number and all that. It can't hurt to try.

Go to your local paint store with a sample of the exact color you want and the will mix it up perfectly for you. (That may mean having to take a small piece of furniture to the store...they won't mind).

Good Luck!

if you have a swatch of the furniture then you can get a color match. it wont be perfect but that's OK since you want it to accent and not make your furniture disappear into the wall..

Bring in a sample of the color you want (a cushion) to a wal-mart and have them match the color.
