The poison from the spray is more harmful, although less carey, than a little spider. Place a glass over them, push under some stiff card, release them outside.

Never pay anyone to spray for spiders. It is ineffective. A spider must be sprayed directly with the pesticide. YOu can spray foundations, behind stuff, etc and it will have little to no affect. Spiders often walk on hairs of their legs and the residual pesticide never touches them.

Catch spider and release outdoors.

I leave some of my webs intact. The webs are usually in pplaces where other bugs come in. So until I can get a spot sealed off I just let the spider handle the incoming bugs. He gets fed and I don't have any other bugs!

I would purchase some insecticide for spiders, I have had a lot of spiders lately and hate them. I sprayed behind things inside the house. I also had the handy man to take a sprayer and spray under the house, and around the foundation of the house. Also, he sprayed inside my storage shed and around it. Be careful if you have pets and not let them in the area until it dries. I always think of Charlotte's Web, and fell in love with Charlotte, but sure don't wish to get a spider bite, so I sprayed. The name of the spay was a cheep spray I bought at WalMart. I don't know what kind the handyman used, but he said it was good.
Best if wishes in despidering !

Wolf spiders are your friends! They eat only bugs. They will probably leave once you get the bugs out and they have nothing else to eat.

Spraying for them is iffy - spiders are not insects and therefore do not lick their feet. The spray, then, has to get onto them, so any spray will have to be such that you cover the entire floor and repeat the process several times.

Don't be silly-wolf spiders are NOT poisonous and are very nonagressive. They will kill and eat pests you really don't want-like roaches. My brother has some and he's gotten them to where they will hold still while he strokes them.
If you're really that arachnophobic, at least sweep them into a paper bag or trash can and release them outdoors rather than kill them (and did you really want to pay someone to spray poison all over your house?).

wolf spiders will NOT attack you. They help by killing other insects. They are not like the black widow or brown recluse. Yes their bite can be painful but not extreme. They will only bite/defend themselves if only provoked. If desperate, use a vacuum.

A big boot usually does the trick or a rolled up magazine. Just don't touch it. Those suckers are lethal. You should definitely get rid of it soon.
