There is no time limit to snagging, talk to your builder in the right manner and I am sure he will want it fixed as quick as you do, after all it is his reputation on the line, if you get no joy from him report him to confederation of master builders, or trading standards, builders don't like them getting there noses in. There is no time limit as such but it can depend on what your Solicitor says mostly. This may mean that he/she will not let you sign until all snags have been taken care of. This generally makes the builder finish quicker as he/she is waiting on the balance payment. The most important thing is to make sure that they snag correctly and quickly! Enjoy!

Depends how many items are on the list.If there are lots of very petty items he may just sell to another buyer who is not so fussy.

you have to let let know all the problems within a 9 month period...
Watch them though, depending on your builders,,,they can be slippery little suckers.

Depends what you've asked him to do.
And it will take him aslong as you let him.

Just get on his case, the more you bug him to get it done the faster he'll do it.

Don't let him sack you off, you've paid for a full job, not half a job!

depends on the amount that needs doing? ask em for a times scale and make sure they stick to it!!
