It is due to moisture inside & out side, clean it sound will go, it happens in rainy season.

anyway, i think that's the refrigerant cooling the refrigerator.
ever wondered why those cool water fountains make a rumbling sound?

It is the 'knock knock' of the compressor!
Have the compressor checked, before you have to do costly repairs.

if the sound is coming from under your fridge that sounds like the compressor...which isn't good...
