I understand October is a good time to plant garlic in the UK. I have some Thermidrome garlic but have never grown garlic before. Do you plant the individual cloves and how deep and far apart should they be? Any information/tips would be much appreciated. Thank you.

The frogs are in a door that I use to let my dogs in and out and I am terrified of frogs so I can't just pick them up and move them. Someone told me to spray them with Raid but that seems just too cruel. Please help!

I have noticed in the house that aphids are flying around sometimes more than other times. I have tried to kill them by my hand but can't seem to kil enough that way, they are so fast. What can I use to spray in the house that will get rid of them. Something I can spray and leave the house for a short time. I hate it, when I am eating a few are around me and trying to swat them all the time. They are annoying. I only have one houseplant they are not bothering with it. Don't know why I have them in the house, first time. No food left out.

I'm struggling to categorise where environmental + recycling stuff would go, as it's more than science + maths and would get lost in society and culture. I've stuck this under home and garden as the quality of our environment affects us all, although we don't all have homes and gardens ;o)

I understand an orange or apple or anything with seeds, you replant the seeds, but what about stuff with no seeds, where do the farmers get the seeds to keep growing our food.

The bug I asked about earlier turns out to be a leaf-footed bug (Hemiptera: Coreidae) or Cedar bug. Anyone ever deal with these or know how to get rid of them?

The TRUNK.
The person who cut the slowly dying tree down with a small chainsaw is going to want to just cut it up. Knows it's going to be a terrible time with the small chainsaw- flat on the ground now, it's about two feet thick. Is it posssible to give away the wood (firewood like) and cost not much?

Litttle or no cost? What might the cost be like? We're thinking tree-cutter company? Ideas?

He put a vacate notice on my door and told me to vacate within 3 days if I couldn't pay him all the rent. I never received a copy of my 1 page agreement/lease with him. Apartment is privately owned, and has roaches, wiring problems in kitchen, kitchen has short in electricity and flickers on and off. Originally had roomate, she moved and stuck me w/all rent.

How often do you clean your toilet? Do you clean under the rim by hand or with a brush?

I just recently bough a townhouse and it is supposed to be three bedrooms but the people who owned it before me got the bright idea to make a huge opening in one of the walls so it is open to the living room and they turned it into their dining room. I want to turn it back into a bedroom but I don't know what I need to do to fill the wall back in. The base floor is concrete. Thanks a lot!!
