Due to a recent family crisis my bf and I are changing the locks to our home. Who should I call about getting this done?

Go to your local hardware store, or DIY store (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes..etc) and buy a lock set. They're not too incredibly difficult to install. You can get your boyfriend to do it, it'll probably make him feel all manly and helpful!

Just call a locksmith and have him Re-Key your lock, it's cheaper than the whole knob, but if the locksmith thinks that you didn't know about re-keying, he moght try to sell you the more expensive job. It's goona cost you in the neighborhood of 140 bucks anyway, unless you live in cheaper state than Vermont, which most people do.

If you BF is a bit of a handyman, they are easy to change. A screwdriver or two is all you need. Buy new ones and remove the old ones and replace them. the new ones all come with keys!

YOu can do this yourself. Just buy the whole door handle and buy all the handles keyed alike. Remove old handles install new. Very simple
