it is white interior paint that went on a wall. the rug is like a welcome mat. not really sure what kind of material it is :o(

I have some stuff I purchased at a Kirby Vacuum store its called Lickity Split for about 10.00 it works great. I was able to get candle wax out of the carpet and gum from the floorboard of the car. Not sure where you live but I know they do use u.p.s. If your not local. the number is 936-756-3556

Depending on the carpet try scarping it gently. Or call a dry cleaner and ask them how to extract paint also you can call a rug cleaning company.

Get some "Goof Off' or "Goo Gone" Works on just about anything. It will get the paint out.
