cig smoke is an oily smoke which leaves a residue behind...so it is going to be difficult if not impossible to rid apt of smell if you are not quitting..
..However,there are some things that will help at least somewhat :
-you can use a deodorizer power like 'carpet fresh' or 'Arm and Hammer' baking soda is really good for deodorizer (to really rid carpet of smell would involve shampooing with strong cleaner & or deodorizer)
-for drapes ...just wash them
-for the windows themselves...I recommend you wash them down with a cleaner that cuts grease....'Windex' should work fairly well...the stuff with ammonia added really cuts grime...But it really has a strong smell so open a window for air!
-your walls probably are stained by the smoke...the only way I know to help that is to wash down with bleach...and or repaint...if you plan to repaint...make sure to wash the walls down first ..your paint will cover better if you do.
Well thats all I can think of off the top of my head....
good luck!

1 - get a new apt. would be the easiest way to go. that smoke has been asorbed into everything you have and own.
2 - buy an air purifier to help keep smoke to a minimum, burn scented candles and spray your place with fabreeze to help take the smell out of the place.
3 - paint the walls, steam clean your carpet and rugs, wash all of your clothes. wash down furniture to remove any remaining smells from the rest of the place.
4 - open a window when you smoke, or go outside to have the place not smell from here on out.....

air and clean your apt more often. fabric sofa or furniture captured smoke smell very well. smoke outdoor. we smoke outdoor even in the winter at minus 20 degrees C. get a few of those electric plug-in air freshner, keep at low dosage, they last upto 6 weeks. washing detergent - use lemon scent or fresh scent, or simply vineger and water. do not add any other scent to the existing bad odour.

open window, insert fan. Also fabreeze-ing first will help. Only fresh air will 'remove' smell, other products, and candles just add new smell. You can also wash everything, but if you still smoke it will just return.

they have ashtrays that suck up your smoke, they are by the air purifiers at like walmart or target. if you need more to cover it up too hallmark stores sell plug in airfresheners that use oil, i have the home sweet home, smells like cinnamon and spices. the scents in those are very strong!

hi non-quitter. first- scrub and clean second- repaint entire inside of home and install new floor covering if porous third -try smoking outside only. you need to calculate cost of smoking, long term cost to health self & others, and cost to remodel home smoke outside or dont smoke better yet :)

I use citrus sprays, Neutra-Air, made by Lysol and Oust Air Sanitizer. You can buy them at grocery stores and Wal-Mart.
